File size is *HUGE* for a BOINC project. The BOINC server code does have a built in compress/decompress feature for uploads and downloads. It just needs to be turned on (if it isn't already). Thanks!

you are right, we are working on imporvement of master-part of application to strip off it from
additional work and decrease size of files (to avoid bottlenecks in data transfer).

Ya I heard they wanted someone to stress test there Project
I Figured I was best suited to do that .
But I was only able to point about 300 + Ghz of CPU power here before it crashed out

SERVER STATUS: Server hardware will be upgraded today.
February 28, 2011, 07:45 GMT
For the further stable scaling-up we will upgrade our project server hardware today (28 February, 2011) with a short interruption from 10:00 GMT to 12:00 GMT. Then all inprogress workunits will be accepted, and the limited number of unsent workunits will be available.

During the following 5 days (4-8 March) we foresee some potential problems with a stable power supply.
That is why, we apologize in advance, if some unpredictable problems will appear due to temporal inaccessibility of SLinCA project server.
Despite all these hardships, by our estimations we will finish the next half-year programme of calculations ... during the next week (and major upgrade of application will be made)!

I searched the wiki, but didn't find any details on the latest changes.

I did find this:

Future Plans
The current version of SLinCA-application will be upgraded to stable checkpoinitng, some new functionality, and support of NVIDIA GPU-computing to perform the analysis faster (by estimations from 50 to 200% faster).

Would it be possible to get estimates timelines for checkpointing, and GPU support?
