Может оно как в Розетте, ты сам выбираешь продолжительность ВЮ (макс 1 день, мин 1 час)

И ты выбрал или стояло по дефолту 118 часов (5 дней)

As promised: I have regenerated 1.4k workunits which didn't come back. If you still have any old workunits, you can safely abort them (or, if they are already in progress, you can also decide to finish them regularly). More work will be generated soon. Btw: I have implemented a few lines which prevent the credit system from granting only a few credits for long workunits. I think this is a long awaited feature. последние 5к ву из 100к очень странные.

в них зашито ограничение на подсчёт 72 часа. потом результаты отправляются обратно.

по ссылке переписка с одмином, он говорит, что ничего не поделаешь, придётся считать как есть.
когда останется 100 вушек, они сами досчитают ))

I forgot to mention: The new time limit is 5 days. The reason is that there
are only about 5 000 workunits (out of 100 000) left and we believe that we
can solve them without complicated splitting if we give them enough time.

If less than 100 remain, then we will solve them on our local machines which run
24/7 and are quite fast.

Those 5k workunits are all that is left to crunch for 12 givens. In about two weeks the work will be done, and if there is no unique solution for 12 (which is likely) we will continue with 13 givens.

We are approaching the end of the 12-series. Today I have inserted 2500 workunits as replacement for lost or demaged results. They tend to be harder than the previous ones, therefore the maximum running time is set to 10 days (which is probably too much). Additionally I have lowered the workunits-per-host limit to 4 workunits in order to achieve an equal distribution of the work. We need the results as soon as possible, so it would be helpful if you spend as much cpu-cycles as possible within the next few days. Thank you for the good work, best regards, Bernhard.

300 come back every day. Average running time now: 28 hours. Only a few take very long (up to 5 days). Here is a top list of all results > 80 hours:

вообще-то после заданий с 12 цифрами будут задания с 13 цифрами.
проект ещё долго не закончится. потом будут 14, 15 и 16 цифр.
но они по идее будут считаться быстрее. меньше вариантов перебирать.

Only 71 workunits of the "max10days"-series are left, and tonight they will all be gone. About 1100 workunits are in progress and I expect to get most of them back within a week. If then only a few remain open then I will solve them on our office machines and then we will know if there is a unique solution for 12 given numbers or not.

Right now I have inserted 10 workunits of the next step. They are called "13preCrunch" and I need them to examine the behavior for step 13. If no errors occur I will insert another 200 tonight. For now the maximum running time is again 10 days. This might change depending on the outcome of the first few workunits.

Осталось 71 ВУ из 10-дневной серии. В работе щас 1100 штук и они должны вернуться примерно за неделю.
Если останется штук 10 я пощитаю их сам, и мы узнаем есть ли решение для 12-значного судоку.

А теперь следите за руками. Я вставил 10 ВУ прямо сейчас. Они называются 13преКранч и нужны для тестирования следующего этапа. Если всё будет пучком, я вставлю ещё 200 штук. Таймаут 10 дней.
Вобщем посмотрим.

кстате да, кто хочет считать 13 уже сейчас - на этапе тестов - в настройках в профиле включите бету.

вобщем 13-е ВУ оказались ОЧЕНЬ большими. настолько большими что с субботы ещё ни одна не вернулась.

поэтому админ написал что у кого считаться ещё не началась - их лучше абортнуть. если уже считается, то пусть считает все 10 дней до дедлайна. очки дадут и результат будет полезен для проекта.
скорее всего их будут делить на части.

Since saturday we haven't got any positive result from the 13-series because these workunits are way too long. If you have "13_preCrunch" workunits which haven't started yet, please cancel them. If you have running workunits of this series, please let them run until the 240 hours limit. You will get credit then (and the result is useful for the project).

As to the 12-series: 390 that were sent out at least one week ago are still open, and we get only about 30-40 per day back. But with downward drift. Therefore we have decided to insert the open workunits again, even if this leads to some redundant results. This is is unavoidable. The new series is called "12_max500hrs" meaning:

.) Series: 12
.) Maximum running time: 500 hours
.) Expected average running time: 35 hours

As soon as these 390 workunits are finished, step 12 is done. Please spend as much cpu cycles as possible for the next few days!

осталось 390 штук 12-й серии. поскольку назад возвращаются по 30 штук в день, решено их закинуть опять в очередь, даже если это приведёт к избыточным результатам. этого не избежать. после обсчёта этих 390 ву 12 серия закончится.

поскольку сейчас идёт праймгрид, скорее всего их пощитают без нас )))))

блин они уже две недели пытаются добить эти 500 ВУ.

они просто сцуко по 100 часов, а некоторые отрабатывают все 240 часов. правда админ писал, что это нормально, они потом могут отправить их щитаться дальше с того же самого места.

There are still some 12-workunits left which were not solved during the last period. I have inserted them again, and they have 'ultra' in their name. Be aware that they are likely to be ultra hard. Crunch them only if you accept running times of several days! Best regards, Bernhard.
