Для присоединения к команде Украины:

2. Перейдите в "расширенный вид"
3. Выберите сервис ---> добавить проект
4. Введите адрес проекта http://boinc.unsads.com/rsals/
5. Введите свои регистрационные данные.
6. Найдите нашу команду. Она называется Ukraine и адрес ее http://boinc.unsads.com/rsals/team_members.php?teamid=23&sort_by=total_credit&offset=0 вы могли видеть выше.
7. Если есть доступные для загрузки задания Вы их получите и начнете расчеты.

Полезная информация:
Для идентификации пользователя в BOINC могут служить 2 вещи:
1) пара e-mail/пароль
2) межпроектный идентификационный ID (Cross-project ID) - 32значное шестнадцатиричное число.

Если Вы пожелаете подключится ещё и к другому BOINC-проекту, то помните: чтобы не плодить новых аккаунтов при подключении к новому проекту или команде, нужно обязательно везде регистрироваться с одним и тем же Именем и EMAIL. если при регистрации в проекте указать другой e-mail , BOINC создаст новый аккаунт с тем же именем! В этом случае рекомендуется зайти во все ваши аккаунты и во все проекты и где надо поменять емейл на нужный. Через некоторое время ваши аккаунты сольются в один с одним cross-project-id.

2010-04-20: Today an experimental work generator has been set up. It seems to work fine. The generator is a php script run from cron, that tries to keep a set of unsent work units ready for the clients. work generation is stopped when a predefined threshold is reached, this is a sort of feedback control .New numbers are now managed automatically, while old ones are still managed by hand.You can follow the crunching status on the crunching status page, which has been improved since the last news. Numbers come in a waiting queue, the ready-to-be-sieved numbers are then moved in the active queue, and an archive of completed numbers is kept in the third part of the page.The next technical challenge now is post processing, to group result files in a single multigigabytes monster file, that is finally downloaded by volunteers with multi core, multi gigabytes RAM computers, for the final factorization steps. we must concatenate thousands of workunits in real time, ensuring they are properly compressed and valid before concatenation and deletion, or the whole file will become invalid. There are atomic operations involved, with failure recovery options if something goes wrong in the middle of the concatenation "transaction".And if that wasn't enough, we have to manage the small server disk, ensuring there is enough work AND enough room on the server to handle the results!This will ensure that you, our fellow researchers, do not stay without work for your silicon beasts, while reducing the burden for my fellow project manager, and for our beloved linear algebra volunteers.

RSALS is now closed.
We have merged with the NFS@Home project.
The same people are running the old RSALS calculations in this new project.
The project web pages are kept alive to show the statistics of our volunteer participants.
