Для присоединения к команде Украины:
1. Загрузите BOINC менеджер (Если его у Вас еще нет!)
2. Перейдите в "расширенный вид"
3. Выберите сервис ---> добавить проект
4. Введите адрес проекта http://cbl-boinc-server2.cs.technion.ac.il/superlinkattechnion/
5. Введите свои регистрационные данные.
6. Найдите нашу команду. Она называется Ukraine и адрес ее статистики вы могли видеть выше.
7. Если есть доступные для загрузки задания Вы их получите и начнете расчеты.

Полезная информация:
Для идентификации пользователя в BOINC могут служить 2 вещи:
1) пара e-mail/пароль
2) межпроектный идентификационный ID (Cross-project ID) - 32значное шестнадцатиричное число.

Если Вы пожелаете подключится ещё и к другому BOINC-проекту, то помните: чтобы не плодить новых аккаунтов при подключении к новому проекту или команде, нужно обязательно везде регистрироваться с одним и тем же e-mail/паролем либо CPID. если при регистрации в проекте указать другие e-mail или пароль, BOINC создаст новый аккаунт с тем же именем!

О проекте:
Поиск и исследование генов, вызывающих такие болезни, как гипертония (повышенное кровяное давление), некоторые формы диабета, рак, шизофрения и многие другие.
Superlink@Technion помогает генетикам выполнять генетический анализ соединения, который является статистическим методом, используемым, чтобы связать функциональность генов с их местоположением на хромосомах.
Super Link является проектом по биологии и компьютерных наук факультета израильского технологического института (Technion).

We are happy to announce the completion of another batch. As before, there are two different issues on which we want to conclude. The first is the throughput. Thanks to our crunchers we broke all our previous records with the landmark 3.5 mlns jobs in 3 weeks. It is a real success and we are grateful to each and everyone of you who took part in this computation.

The second issue is the genentics. Here the news is not so good. Unfortunately, the results didn't show any significant signal of mutation. This data was collected to study a kidney disease, and we changed it to find whether there is any chance to detect the single provided that we gather more data from the population. The answer is no. Another point is that it shows that in this case the application of another quite popular alternative algorithm wouldn't help, prompting that Superlink employs the right algorithm for computations.

The problem that really troubles us is that we failed to catch incorrect results. Namely, after the analysis it is clear that our system didn't catch 10 (out of 3.5 mlns) jobs that returned incorrect result ( it is clear that the result is infeasible from the numerical point of view) We will work to find the problem and eliminate it before the next batch is submitted.

Yet another issue that will be handled BEFORE the next batch is the one of further improvement of the scheduling backend to increase its scalability to the future uses.

Вобщем и цедом они снчала хотят снизить нагрузку на сервер (3.5М ву за 3 недели).
И плохая новость - программа не показала каких-либо генетических изменений, которіе они хотели найти. Поєтому они будут менять программу, прежде чем пустят новіе ВУ.
