В официальном блоге прочитал сегодня очень интересную новость.

В первых выпусках не будет всего, о чем просили фолдеры, но значительные изменения будут. Например, интеграция классического, SMP и GPU-клиентов, возможность единого клиента подключать все эти ресурсы (многоядерный ЦП + GPU) одновременно, упрощенный и более надежный GUI, улучшенные и более продвинутые средства для сторонних разработчиков, а со временем и возможность использовать клиент FAH для простого управления несколькими ПК.

Консольная версия седьмого клиента прошла внутреннее тестирование, и мы начинаем ограниченный выпуск альфа-версии. Все еще требуется много доработок, но я рад, что мы сделали такой большой шаг вперед. Если не будут выявлены критические ошибки, надеюсь, что через месяц-другой мы сможем выпустить этот клиент для открытого бета-тестирования.

i7 860@2.8 + GeForce 8400 GS, Athlon 4400+ + ATI HD3870
Бляха. На рабочей машинке успешно крутится SMP, и если мне не врут глаза, то производительность несколько увеличилась. Но вот не могу запустить второй слот для GPU (Geforce 8400GS).
Установил последние драйвера на видео. В факе написано, что GPU не будет фолдить, если клиент запущен как сервис. Ок, переконфигурил из сервисов в обычные процессы. И нифига...
