====== Folding@Home: Subprojects 2012-2015 ======

These projects explore the way different methods of summing the electrostatic potentials effect the kinetics of protein folding. Until now people have only had the processing power to understand the thermodynamic effects of electrostatic potential summation techniques. This new data will help scientists make better decisions about how much electrostatic detail they need for their simulations. As with projects 2005-2011 bba5 is being studied because it is a small well understood protein with many common important features. Also comparisons between these projects and [[uk:projects_folding_at_home_subprojects_2008-2011|2008-10]] will be very interesting.
